Dr. Srividya completed both her BDS and MDS from AECS Maaruti Dental College, Bangalore. She has been practicing for 19 years and specialises in veneers, crowns, bridges, and dentures (removable and fixed), with a special interest in temporomandibular disorders and smile designing.

She has undergone intense training in biometric diagnostic aids for the human stomatognathic system, TMJ craniofacial muscles, jaw kinesiology, mandibular repositioning, mastication analysis and occlusion (Marquette University, USA), and digital smile designing. She is also DTR certified (USA).

She was the recipient of the Dr. PV Jayade award for the best session paper and best overall paper in 2010 (FDI IDA). She has authored two books. The first is a primer on complete denture prosthodontics and the second is an in vitro study on the flexural strength of porcelain veneers.

She has presented scientific papers at national and international conferences and has had 17 papers published. She has also conducted workshops and been a resource person for a professional advancement programme held at KIDWAI, Bangalore. After teaching at Maaruti Dental College for 5 years, she currently works as a consultant biometric dentist and prosthodontist while managing her own private practice.
